As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will serve as a key member of the executive team and play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy and overall success of the organization. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, providing financial leadership, and ensuring the company's financial health and stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Provide financial guidance to the CEO and board of directors to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare long-term financial forecasts and budgets, monitoring performance against financial targets.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Communicate financial results to stakeholders, board members, and investors.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks that could impact the company's profitability and stability.
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and oversee the annual audit process.
- Manage the company's capital structure, including debt and equity financing.
- Evaluate and recommend capital investments and financing options.
- Optimize working capital and cash flow management.
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, treasury, and tax functions.
- Ensure efficient and accurate financial transaction processing and record-keeping.
- Monitor and manage the company's investments and financial assets.
- Collaborate with other senior leaders to align financial and operational strategies.
- Provide insights and recommendations on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and operational improvements.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and industry best practices.
- Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred).
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior finance leadership role.
- Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting skills.
- Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
