Responsibilities
- Work with senior developers to design, develop, and test augmented reality (AR) applications across multiple platforms.
- Implement AR features and functionality, including object recognition, 3D modeling, and spatial mapping.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure seamless integration of AR features and intuitive user experiences.
- Help in the prototyping of AR experiences and assist in testing to identify and resolve bugs.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in AR technology, tools, and frameworks, suggesting improvements or innovations for projects.
- Maintain clear documentation for the development process, code changes, and technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and optimize AR applications for performance and stability.
Requirements
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of AR development tools such as ARKit (iOS), ARCore (Android), Unity3D, Vuforia, or similar frameworks.
- Proficiency in programming languages like C#, C++, or JavaScript, depending on the platform being developed for.
- Knowledge of 3D graphics concepts such as meshes, shaders, and rendering pipelines is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems for team collaboration.
Skills
- Experience with AR platforms (ARKit, ARCore, Unity) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills to identify issues and devise innovative solutions.
- Ability to think creatively and come up with new, interactive AR experiences.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and other team members.
- Precision and attention to detail in both coding and user experience design.
