Responsibilities
- Assist in developing server-side logic and APIs for seamless functionality.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Work with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity.
- Debug and troubleshoot server-side issues.
- Optimize back-end performance for speed and scalability.
- Implement data protection and secure authentication protocols.
- Stay updated with security best practices to prevent breaches.
- Write and maintain clear documentation for code and APIs.
- Perform unit testing to ensure robust functionality.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Coordinate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality outputs.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in back-end technologies are a plus.
- Proficiency in back-end programming languages like Python, Java, PHP, Node.js, or Ruby.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Django, Express.js, or Spring Boot.
- Understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.
- Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
- Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Understanding of web services and protocols like HTTP and JSON.
- Ability to analyze and debug complex systems.
- A logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
