C# Development Internship

Responsibilities

• Assist in writing, testing, and maintaining code for C# applications, working under the guidance of senior developers.
• Participate in code reviews and assist in debugging and troubleshooting issues in applications.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, testers, and other developers, to contribute to the development of various projects.
• Help document the code and processes to ensure maintainability and ease of understanding for other team members.
• Assist in the support of existing applications and provide suggestions for improvements.
• Write unit tests and perform integration testing to ensure that applications run smoothly and efficiently.
• Stay updated on the latest C# technologies, frameworks, and tools, and apply this knowledge to current projects.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of C# programming and familiarity with object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio or other Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) for C# development.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL, with some experience in database management and querying.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Skills

• Proficient in C# with knowledge of .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Familiarity with ASP.NET, MVC, or ASP.NET Core for web application development.
• Understanding of fundamental data structures (arrays, lists, queues, stacks) and algorithms.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end web development is a plus.
• Knowledge of frameworks like Entity Framework, LINQ, and other .NET libraries.
• Understanding of common software design patterns (e.g., Singleton, Factory, Observer) is a plus.
• Familiarity with testing tools like NUnit or MSTest for writing unit tests.
