Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering data from multiple sources, ensuring its accuracy and completeness.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand data patterns, trends, and insights.
• Help in designing, building, and testing machine learning models to solve business problems.
• Create visual representations of data findings to communicate results clearly to stakeholders.
• Document processes, workflows, and methodologies used during the analysis.
• Work closely with senior data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and contribute to the development process.
• Assist in developing tools and algorithms for automating data processing and analysis.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms and data science principles.
• Familiarity with data manipulation tools like pandas, numpy, and data visualization libraries like matplotlib, seaborn, or similar.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and model building.
• Understanding of SQL for database querying.
• Ability to approach and solve data-related problems logically.
• Accuracy in data collection, cleaning, and analysis.

Skills

• Ability to interpret and analyze complex data to extract valuable insights.
• Understanding of various machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering).
• Ability to clean and prepare raw data for analysis and modeling.
• Strong communication skills to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Teamwork and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Aptitude for troubleshooting issues and finding optimal solutions in the data science process.
• Basic knowledge of Git or other version control systems for code management.
