RGB Web Tech is seeking a Database Intern to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience in database management, optimization, and development. Responsibilities include designing, maintaining, and optimizing databases, ensuring data integrity, and assisting in database security. Responsibilities
- Assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of databases (SQL & NoSQL).
- Writing and optimizing SQL queries to improve database performance.
- Collaborating with developers to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Ensuring data integrity, security, and consistency across systems.
- Assisting in database backups, recovery, and performance tuning.
- Researching and implementing best practices for database management.
- Learning and staying updated on database technologies, tools, and trends.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program (Computer Science, IT, or related field).
- Basic understanding of database concepts, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other database management systems.
- Knowledge of database indexing, normalization, and optimization techniques.
- A portfolio or sample projects demonstrating database management skills (preferred but not mandatory).
