We are seeking a Magento E-Commerce Intern to join our team at RGB Web Tech. Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining Magento-based e-commerce websites.
- Implement UI/UX changes to enhance user experience.
- Debug issues and optimize website performance.
- Upload, manage, and update product listings with descriptions, images, and prices.
- Ensure accurate categorization and SEO-friendly product descriptions.
- Optimize website structure, metadata, and product pages for search engines (SEO).
- Assist in executing PPC campaigns, social media promotions, and email marketing.
- Monitor website analytics and generate reports on traffic, sales, and conversion rates.
- Identify and resolve website errors, bugs, and performance issues.
- Support order processing, inventory management, and customer queries.
- Assist in streamlining checkout processes and payment gateway integrations.
- Install, configure, and test Magento extensions and plugins.
- Support API integrations for payment, shipping, and CRM tools.
- Ensure website security by following best practices for Magento security patches and updates.
- Assist in maintaining GDPR compliance and data protection measures.
Requirements & Skills
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, E-Commerce, or related fields.
- Certification in Magento development (preferred but not mandatory).
- Basic understanding of Magento 2 (Magento Open Source or Commerce).
- Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML.
- Experience with CMS platforms, payment gateways, and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
- Understanding of version control systems (GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and industry trends.
