Responsibilities
- Write, test, and optimize Matlab code for various engineering, scientific, or analytical applications.
- Assist in processing large datasets, performing statistical analysis, and generating visualizations.
- Collaborate on the development of mathematical models or simulations.
- Help in the enhancement and maintenance of existing Matlab-based software tools.
- Create and maintain documentation for the developed code and project reports.
- Work closely with senior developers and engineers to implement new features or solve problems.
- Identify and fix bugs in the code while optimizing for performance.
- Conduct validation and testing of Matlab programs, ensuring correct output and performance.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Matlab and its associated toolboxes (e.g., Signal Processing, Image Processing, Machine Learning, etc.).
- Strong foundation in mathematics, especially in areas like linear algebra, calculus, and statistics.
- Basic experience in Matlab scripting and programming.
- Knowledge of handling and processing datasets, preferably with experience in data manipulation libraries or tools.
- Ability to solve problems using logical and structured approaches.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for documenting work and collaborating with a team.
Skills
- Proficiency in Matlab, including scripting, functions, and toolbox usage.
- Experience with creating charts, graphs, and other visual data representations in Matlab.
- Basic experience with building mathematical models and simulations in Matlab.
- Knowledge of statistical and data analysis techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and optimize code for efficiency.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git is a plus.
