Responsibilities include designing and maintaining NoSQL databases, performing query optimization, and ensuring data consistency. Responsibilities
- Assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis).
- Writing and optimizing queries to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborating with backend developers to integrate NoSQL databases into applications.
- Ensuring data integrity, consistency, and security in NoSQL databases.
- Performing database backups, restoration, and performance tuning.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting database issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Learning and implementing best practices for NoSQL data modeling and architecture.
- Staying updated on NoSQL trends, tools, and technologies.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program (Computer Science, IT, or related field).
- Basic understanding of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, etc.).
- Familiarity with key-value, document, column-family, or graph-based databases.
- Understanding of data consistency models (CAP theorem, eventual consistency, etc.).
- Knowledge of query optimization techniques and data modeling strategies.
- A portfolio or sample projects demonstrating NoSQL database management (preferred but not mandatory).
Skills
- Strong understanding of NoSQL data models (document-based, key-value, columnar, etc.).
- Query writing, optimization, and troubleshooting in NoSQL environments.
- Familiarity with database indexing, sharding, and replication.
- Ability to work with large-scale distributed systems and high-performance databases.
- Willingness to learn and implement new technologies and tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate with teams, follow instructions, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
