Responsibilities
- Assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of Oracle databases.
- Writing and optimizing SQL queries for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborating with developers to integrate Oracle databases with applications.
- Ensuring data integrity, consistency, and security within Oracle database systems.
- Performing database backups, recovery, and performance tuning.
- Monitoring database performance and troubleshooting performance issues.
- Learning and implementing best practices for database normalization, indexing, and schema design.
- Staying updated on the latest Oracle database features, tools, and technologies.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program (Computer Science, IT, or related field).
- Basic understanding of Oracle Database architecture, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Familiarity with Oracle tools such as SQL*Plus, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and Oracle SQL Developer.
- Knowledge of database normalization, indexing, and optimization techniques.
- Understanding of backup strategies, disaster recovery, and security measures in Oracle databases.
- A portfolio or sample projects demonstrating Oracle database management skills (preferred but not mandatory).
