Shopify E-Commerce Internship

We are seeking a Shopify E-Commerce Intern to join our team at RGB Web Tech. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in developing customized Shopify stores, managing Shopify apps, and implementing various e-commerce solutions in a creative and collaborative setting.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assisting in setting up, designing, and customizing Shopify stores.
• Managing product listings, including descriptions, images, and SEO optimization.
• Implementing updates to product categories, pricing, and inventory levels.
• Troubleshooting and resolving Shopify-related technical issues.
• Conducting keyword research and optimizing product pages for SEO.
• Assisting with Shopify SEO strategies, including meta tags, schema markup, and site speed optimization.
• Supporting content marketing efforts such as blog posts, landing pages, and promotional banners.
• Helping with email marketing campaigns and customer engagement strategies.
• Managing and processing orders, returns, and refunds through Shopify.
• Assisting in handling customer inquiries and providing support via chat, email, or phone.
• Monitoring order fulfillment and ensuring timely deliveries.
• Tracking and analyzing website performance using Google Analytics and Shopify Reports.
• Identifying areas for improvement in conversion rates and user experience.
• Assisting in A/B testing for product pages, CTAs, and other elements.
• Assisting with third-party app integrations, such as payment gateways, CRM tools, and marketing automation platforms.
• Helping to set up automation workflows for order processing and customer communication.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of Shopify's features, themes, and apps. Prior experience managing a Shopify store is a plus.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices, Google Analytics, and social media marketing strategies.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to interpret e-commerce metrics and suggest data-driven improvements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently.
