TypeScript Internship

RGB Web Tech is looking for a TypeScript Intern to join our development team and gain hands-on experience in modern JavaScript development with TypeScript. This internship is ideal for candidates who have a strong foundation in JavaScript, TypeScript, and front-end or back-end frameworks. The intern will work on real-world projects, collaborating with experienced developers to write strongly-typed, maintainable, and scalable code.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of web applications, APIs, or mobile applications using TypeScript.
• Write clean, maintainable, and type-safe code with TypeScript.
• Collaborate with front-end and back-end teams to integrate TypeScript into existing projects.
• Implement strongly-typed interfaces, enums, generics, and advanced TypeScript features.
• Work with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries like React, Angular, or Node.js.
• Debug and optimize TypeScript applications for performance and security.
• Use version control tools like Git/GitHub for source code management.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and team discussions.
• Stay up to date with TypeScript best practices and ecosystem updates.
• Work with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, or Cypress) to ensure code reliability.

Requirements and Skills

Technical Skills:

• Basic understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of static typing, interfaces, generics, and TypeScript decorators.
• Familiarity with React, Angular, or Vue.js for front-end development (Preferred).
• Understanding of Node.js and Express.js for back-end development (Preferred).
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming (Promises, Async/Await).
• Familiarity with module bundlers like Webpack, Rollup, or Vite.
• Understanding of state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, or NgRx).
• Experience with testing tools (Jest, Mocha, Cypress).
• Basic understanding of database integration (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Firebase, or MySQL).
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, or cloud services (AWS, Firebase, Vercel, or Netlify) (Preferred).

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Completion of TypeScript-related projects, online courses, or certifications is a plus.
• Prior internship or freelance experience in TypeScript development is beneficial but not mandatory.
